A special edition hairbrush

The hairbrush manufacturer Denman is constantly looking for new ideas for the individual design of its products. A special edition has now been produced together with Perigon technology for a good cause.

"The new D90l Tangle Tamer Ultra Bee has been dedicated to wild bees that are so important for our planet. 75% of the plants that produce our food depend on pollination by bees, making it vital to our survival.
Many wild bees are threatened with extinction! For the hairbrush shown, our designer chose a bee motif by Amy Holliday. With the sale of our "bee hairbrushes" we support the World Bee project. We donate 5% of our sales proceeds to this project."

The production starts

• The desired design is digitally printed on a thermoformable foil with special inks. 

• The hairbrushes and the foil are placed in the Perigon vacuum oven.

• The temperature in the oven is increased until the foil is soft and flexible.

• At this point a vacuum is created and the soft foil is sucked around the product. It fits like a glove.

• Diffusion begins: this means that the ink is gaseous and transfers into the amorphous structure of the substrate. In this way the desired motif transfers from the foil to the object.

• The printing gives Denbrush’s high-quality hairbrush its individual, eye-catching design that makes it stand out from the competition

• Using unique Perigon technology, any brush shape can be printed in a durable and scratch-resistant manner
